John Kouw, and his sons, at Crusin' Customs in Holland, Michigan, produce some of the best Rods & Customs in that part of the country !
John's one of the most intense builder's I've ever come across, and his quest for excellence in every car he puts on the road is truly remarkable. I've known John for many years, and at the 2007 KKOA Lead Sled Spectacular in Salina, Kansas, we spent some quality-time going over his history and some of the great rides he's been involved with.
One of my favorites to come out of his shop, and the first one that I coupled his name-to-the-build, was a '51 Ford Victoria that had been sliced & diced into visually stunning work of art. I asked him about the car, the concept, and also, found out where it is today...more than 16 years after I first laid eyes on it back in 1992. PLUS, John also talks about his beginnings and his first car.
BELIEVE ME: This Car Is Just As "Current" Today As The First Day It Left The Shop !! JK
