HALL OF FAMER, JOHN D'AGOSTINO'S NEWEST PROJECTS !

Oldsmobile, as well as the other GM Brands and the entire Auto Industry, including the then-recently merged Studebaker-Packard Corporation, was hit hard in 1958 by a Nationwide recession.
Automotive sales slumped across-the-board, and dealers were almost begging the public to come into their showrooms just to look at the cars they had available...hoping that someone would buy something !
Fifty years later, most of the cars that actually were sold during that fateful year (with the noticable exception of '58 Impalas, and a few rare '58 Edsels) have long since been sent to that big Automotive Graveyard in the sky.
BUT, leave it to my "Cuz", Hall Of Famer John D'Agostino, to latch onto not just one, but TWO Super-Rare 1958 rides to build into SureFire Award Winners !

First, John scored an Ultra Rare 1958 Packard Starlight Hardtop (above). When I say "rare" I mean it: only 673 of these cool cars hit the streets in 1958 !
Then, a few days before this exclusive Hall Of Fame Legends Update Interview that I did with John and the legendary George Barris at the 28th Annual KKOA Lead Sled Spectacular in Salina, Kansas, he had called to tell me he was scheduled to pick up ANOTHER extremely rare car: a 1958 Oldsmobile Super 88 Holiday Hardtop (below) ! How many of these have you seen lately ? !

Listen as John tells how his newest ride was found...and how close the owner lived to John ! (Here's a hint: If you're looking for Classic Cars, Hot Rods, and, Customs, you might want to travel to the California neighborhood of Discovery Bay !! )
PLUS, you'll hear some comments about future plans that John, and, George Barris have about spreading the Kustom Kar Kulture around the WORLD ! JK
