IN THIS EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW, SPENCE MURRAY tells me how Sam Gates, Neil Emory, Clay Jensen, Gene Winfield, Dean Moon, George Barris, and Bob Metz created the original versions of the "Rod & Custom Dream Truck" !
The inspiration for the Dream Truck began in 1953 with the humble beginnings of Spence's "daily driver " Chevy truck. And, since the time it was built, this iconic custom has become one of the most famous of all-time being featured & pictured in literally hundreds of magazines and articles World-Wide.
So, I was proud to sit down with my old friend Spence, at Darryl Starbird's on a pleasant afternoon in June, and have him document the story so that all could hear it here on the Hall Of Fame Legends Series. JK
