When he was asked by a friend of his, Robert Garacochea from California, to do his magic on a '58 Custom Star Chief Safari, the result was the "Bonnewood" !
At the 27th Annual KKOA Lead Sled Spectacular in Salina, Kansas, Lou shared with me how the whole project came together.
The "Bonnewood" is what I call a truly fantastic, beautiful, "Monster Machine": the massive size, and weight of this phenominal wagon would probably be equal to TWO new Toyota's !! (In fact, with the tailgate down, you might be able to fit a Nash Metropolitan, or a Mini Cooper n there !)
All kidding aside, this is one GORGEOUS , prize winning ride!
