OUR FRIEND NORM GRABOWSKI PASSED AWAY FRIDAY, OCTOBER 12, 2012.
I was privileged to know him and to document his history & stories for the Hall Of Fame Legends Site. He was always fun to spend time with, and I hope you'll enjoy listening to his stories as much as I did recording them.
That's what this Site has always been about: Preserving the voices, the histories, and, the stories of the Pioneers & Legends of the Rod & Custom Industry...so that they can be heard today, as well as in the future, for all to learn from and enjoy. JK

AFTER VON FRANCO CONTACTED Norm Grabowski about doing a clone of the "Kookie" car, Norm helped with pictures & info on the Original car. The two became friends and Norm stayed at Von Franco's house.
While in California, sitting in the Von Franco-created "Kookie" Car Clone, Norm daydreamed about building "Kookie II" 40 Years Later !
With Von Franco's help and sketches, the car becomes a reality...and one of Norm's Koolest K
reations ! This is a really good story that you've probably never heard before. Thanks again, Norm ! JK
