GARY HOWARD, is a mild-mannered master craftsman who was born & raised in the midwest, moved to Texas in the 1980's, and never looked back. 

All of the cars that Gary builds are meant to be drivers, and his clients like, Legendary Guitarist Jimmie Vaughan, Steve Wertheimer, "Mercury Charlie" Runnels, and many others, seek him  out for that very reason.

  Take MikeYoung, for instance: See, Mike is a good buddie of Jimmie Vaughan's and he had this '60 Impala he'd been driving around for a few years, but when he wanted to sell it, well, that's when Jimmie took him to see Gary, and the results of that "...just lower it & take off the door handles " meeting is what this story is all about !  And, since the build back in '94, Mike's driven that Impala, named "Exotica", everywhere.

And, then, there was a special question that I wanted to ask Gary:  Can a car have a "soul" ?   I think Gary's answer will help clarify it for many who have asked that same question.

Through the year's Gary's become a good friend, and he is one of the nicest, most talented builders working  today.   Enjoy !    JK
