FOR OVER THREE DECADES STEVE STANFORD has been one of the Rod & Custom Industry's leading artists, designers, and, stylists.
He's equally at home doing artwork for both Rods, AND, Customs, but I wanted to find out how he created his unique style, who his Personal Heroes in the Art World were, and what he was feeling on being Inducted into Darryl Starbird's National Rod & Custom Car Hall Of Fame in 2008 as Designer/Artist.
Spending lots of time together and sharing a "Growing Up In St. Louis" Connection, Steve and I became friends, and he was very comfortable sharing his thoughts and stories in the Interview. So, I know you'll enjoy his insight into style, using good quality art supplies, artists he's admired through the years, and his thoughts on being Inducted into the HOF.
If you're a young artist hoping to get into the Industry, or just want to know how one of the Super Pros does it, this is one Interview that you'll want to listen to more than once !
As you look at the pictures and artwork shown here remember: ALL of the Cars & Designs on this Page came from the pen and the vision of Steve Stanford...a true Industry Legend. JK
